MarTe will organise its first Technical Workshop on 4–5 February 2026, focusing on physical modelling and simulation tools that support innovation in the blue and green economy.
The workshop, titled “Physical Modelling for Blue & Green Transitions: Deep-Tech Tools from Lab to Market”, is part of MarTe’s broader mission to strengthen cooperation between research, industry, and innovation ecosystems in the Baltic Sea region.
The two-day hybrid event will introduce participants to practical modelling and simulation approaches used in marine and maritime technologies, renewable energy solutions, and sustainable blue economy value chains. Through expert lectures, live demonstrations and hands-on sessions, the workshop highlights how modern engineering tools help reduce development risks and accelerate the journey from research to market-ready solutions.
The workshop will take place on-site at Ventspils University of Applied Sciences and online, making it accessible to a broad international audience.
